About

About us

Move. Explore. Belong.

What if trying a new sport felt less intimidating?

What if moving your body was about connection, not competition?

What if making new friends was as simple as showing up?

That’s why Asterisco* exists.

We bring women together through sports, movement, nature, and shared experiences, creating welcoming spaces where meaningful connections can grow. Whether you’re new to a city, looking for adventure, hoping to meet like-minded people, or simply curious to try something new, Asterisco is a place to explore, challenge yourself, and feel part of a supportive community.

Here our core values and mission:

1. Movement without pressure
We want to create accessible, non-judgmental spaces to try different sports and forms of movement.

No fitness level required. No performance expected.

2. Community built on solidarity
We share knowledge, lived experiences and passions.

We grow through listening, collective reflection and the kind of support that only comes from people who get it.

3. Women, bodies and the earth
We believe the relationship between women and the natural world runs deep. Through outdoor movement and ecofeminist reflection, we build communities that care for each other and for the planet.

Asterisco is not about performance. It is about participation.  OR: No pressure. No expectations. Just come as you are<3

Why the Asterisk? **

The asterisk (*) is at the heart of our identity.

It often marks the most important information – the details that require attention, participation, or action.

For us, it represents women.. sometimes overlooked, yet essential to communities, relationships, and positive change.

What we believe

We believe that movement is more than physical activity.

It is a way to connect with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.

We believe every woman deserves the freedom to explore, move, and participate without fear of judgment, exclusion, or pressure to perform.

By bringing women together through sport, nature, and shared experiences, we hope to nurture stronger communities, deeper connections, and a greater sense of care for one another and for the environment we all share.
